Legenda United itu meminta Manajer Louis van Gaal memperbaiki lini serang tim.

United seharusnya bisa mencetak beberapa gol ke gawang Newcastle setelah mampu menciptakan kurang lebih 20 peluang. Akan tetapi penyelesaian akhir buruk membuat segalanya menjadi sia-sia.

Scholes merasa yakin bahwa permasalahan United dalam hal penyelesaian akhir seperti musim lalu belum berakhir.

Pria berusia 40 tahun itu menyarankan Van Gaal untuk memboyong satu striker hebat seperti Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"Anda tentu akan bertanya-tanya apakah United akan mengambil kesempatan kepada seseorang seperti Ibrahimovic untuk satu tahun ini," kata Scholes.

"Ya, tidak ada masalah," ucap Scholes saat ditanya mengenai peluang Ibrahimovic bisa cocok dengan permainan United. Selain itu mengenai karisma Ibrahimovic akan cocok dengan Van Gaal, Scholes mengatakan: "Saya tidak peduli, selama ia bisa mencetak banyak gol."

Meski Ibrahimovic sudah berusia 33 tahun, ia tetap mampu mencetak lebih dari 20 gol per musim. Striker dengan kemampuan mencetak gol sebanyak itu lah yang diperlukan United untuk bisa bersaing dan membantu pemain lain seperti Wayne Rooney di lini serang Iblis Merah.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed the striker's 'surprise' destination will not be the San Siro.

He told Italian publication Corriere della Sera: "There's a one in a million chance that he'll come back [to Milan]."

The Sweden international currently has just one year left to run on his PSG deal ,and owner NasserAl-Khelaifi insists he will see it out.
